Things Were Not Always That Way...
During the first ~10 years or so of my professional career, I had no idea where I fit in the professional world.
I did everything from a software engineer, which I was terrible at...
To a Xerox sales rep - that's right, I went door-to-door selling copiers...
I did not last long...
Working for fast-growing companies provided opportunities in the areas of solutions consulting, sales engineering, consulting, marketing, etc.
I touched every part of the companies I worked for...
Working for all of these different departments and companies, I was exposed to a lot of different bosses.
And I struggled with my bosses...
Each boss was not a bad person, however, they had no leadership education or development.
They essentially learned on the job and the reason they were in their current position was not because of their leadership skills.
I went through some difficult situations that I am 100% confident could have been avoided.
I even left a number of them even though I liked my role and the company I worked for.
I Knew There Had To Be A Better Way
After realizing that I had to become the change I wanted to see...
I went to grad school and focused my MBA on Management and Organizational Behavior.
Once I understood the field of management and leadership, everything changed.
Upon graduating, I committed to bringing great leadership to my teams and creating the positive, inclusive, and collaborative environment I always wanted to be part of.
As a result of following a structured path to building my leadership skills, I went from an individual contributor to a Vice President in 2.5 years!
Not only that, but I also built high-performing teams along the way.
Leadership Is Not A Solo Game
My transformation as a leader did not happen overnight.
I've made my fair share of mistakes and I invested, and continue to invest, heavily in my personal growth and development.
Now, my mission is to support people just like you to grow their leadership skills, build inclusive environments, and enable other people to be successful.
If even one more leader is able to achieve this, the world will be a better place.
The best part is that I've spent years testing and refining what I teach. There is no theory, only proven results.
All you need to do is follow the path and join the community because we will do this together.
